A pair of Eastern circular silver Bowls, probably Tibetan, decorated with Buddhist symbolism and Greek Key rim, fluted pedestal foot, 14cm diameter, unmarked but tested, total weight 13.63ozt, together with a Buddhist brass dorje, a Rkangling (rkang-gling) copper horn, the white metal mounts in the traditional form of a chusrin (sea monster), Eastern inlaid brass hinged box etc., (a lot)
Provenance; Col. R.L Vance RAMC (Indian Medical Service) serving in India and Tibet in the early 20thC, up until the 1930's, by family tradition having received items as personal gifts from grateful patients.
