An English porcelain famille rose Jug, with printed and over painted design, restored, H 7cm, together with a creamware Mug, with print reading 'Come buy my fish theyre sweet and good. As ever swam in pond or flood', another creamware Mug, this one with print and reading 'Quick traveling' and a lustreware Jug (4)
Provenance; The property of a Collector, amassed over the last 50 years.
The 'fish' mug has been restored to the front of the mug where the image is. Jug is in good condition. Quick Travelling mug has been in a few pieces in its past and has been restored however the cracks are still visible. The transfer printed jug has been in several pieces in its lifetime and heavily restored.
The restoration is all over the body apart from foot and beak.
There are chips to beak and a glazed chip just above the handle suggesting this is how it left the factory.
The restorer hasn’t repainted any of the decoration, so the crack is still visible under the transfer print.
