A 19thC Staffordshire pottery Frog Mug, in pale blue ground, with floral decoration in relief, gilt 'long May You Live' motif and painted frog within, H 10cm, together with two similar, in grey ground, one white ground with painted flora and green frog within, and a stoneware Frog Mug, H 9cm (5)

Salt glazed Mug - chips to handle, crack to base, firing faults to moulded relief.
Blue mug - crazed and scuffed base, gilding loss and paint loss to flowers, otherwise okay. White Mug - possible restoration to frog. Restoration to rim in three areas. Light grey - crazed, two hairlines emanating from rim, paint loss and firing faults to flowers. Dark Grey - deep crazing. 4 hairlines, paint loss and firing faults to flowers and chip and crack to base. Notice concerning catalogue descriptions and condition reports.
