A WW1 1914-15 Star, awarded to 56105 Pte. C. H. Heffer, R.A.M.C, together with a quantity of RAMC cloth insignia, two identity tags and handwritten letters from the front, all contained in a leather wallet and noted on a copy of the formal notification of his death as forming part of his personal effects (a lot)
Cecil Howard Heffer, b.1896 in Streatham Surrey joined the RAMC on 23rd Feb 1915. He was reported missing when attached to the Leinster Regiment in the Middle East on 16th March 1918, and presumed dead on 29th Dec. 1918. He is commemorated on Jerusalem Memorial.
