Attributed to Nantgarw: a set of four circular porcelain plates, each painted with a basket of flowers, within decorative gilt borders and dentil rim, no marks, 23cm diameter, one plate with hairline crack, gilt decoration rubbed on all plates (4) Note: one plate bears a label on the reverse inscribed in ink “Nantgarw (early Swansea) 1817-1819 London Decoration. Sold at Sotheby’s for £27 per plate from Baroness Burdett Coutts Collection in 1920 (Given to Hilma by Auntie Rara)".
