A George V silver Chalice, by Tudor Art Metal & Plating Co., hallmarked London, 1928, the circular cup with knopped stem on a spreading lobed foot, the stem and foot with gadrooned decoration, the foot with applied crucifix, the underside of foot with presentation inscription 'Given by his parents in thanksgiving for the Baptism of Bernard Harold Michael Palmer, October 12 1929', 16cm high, approx weight 9.2ozt.
Note; Dr. Bernard Palmer was owner and editor of the Anglican Newspaper 'Church Times' from 1968 until his retirement in 1969.
