Early 19th century Napoleonic French prisoner of war carved bone Spinning Jenny Automaton, modelled as a woman seated by a platform at her spinning wheel above the winding mechanism, 11cm high, under glass dome with wood base. Note: bears retail label for Rogers de Rin Antiques, London: Provenance: The Eyres Collection of French Napoleonic Prisoner-of-War Works of Art and Antique Weapons, assembled over many years by a Devon collector.  Sold on the instructions of the Executor.
