Indian Mutiny Medal, 1858, named to R. Tagg. 90th. Lt. Infy., with two clasps, Defence of Lucknow and Lucknow.
Confirmed on the roll.
The 90th (Perthshire Volunteers) Light Infantry served in the Crimea before embarking for service in China in April 1857. However, en route the regiment was diverted to India and formed part of Havelock's First Relief Force during the siege of Lucknow.
